National Dong Hwa University suffered severe damage to the laboratory on the fourth floor of the Science and Engineering Building due to the 0403 earthquake. The restoration of teaching facilities requires substantial funds, and we hope for generous contributions from all sectors of society and alumni to help Dong Hwa overcome this difficulty. A respectable delegation from the University of the Philippines Baguio（UP Baguio）, led by the Chancellor Ph.D. Corazon L. Abansi visited National Dong Hwa University（NDHU）on January 10 to 13, 2024. The members of the delegation include the Vice Chancellor, Santos Jose Dacanay III; Dean Leah Abayao, College of Social Sciences; Dean Jimmy Fong, College of Arts and Communication; and Dean Dymphna Javier, College of Science.
